Fit-out and refurbishment, delivered with care

Commercial refurbishment and fit-out projects often come with additional challenges. Existing buildings, tight programmes, multiple trades and, in many cases, people continuing to work or operate within the building all need to be carefully managed.

At Jupiter Construction, we understand the importance of coordinating the detail behind the build. From planning and procurement through to construction and handover, our team works closely with clients and project teams to keep everyone informed and the project moving forward.

Our experience includes commercial fit-outs, CAT A and CAT B works, refurbishment and remodelling projects across Yorkshire and the wider North of England.

Where projects take place in live or occupied environments, we carefully plan works around the needs of the building and its users, coordinating access, deliveries, services and programme requirements to minimise disruption while maintaining a safe and controlled site.

They displayed a positive, can do approach, adapting professionally and safely, particularly within a live public environment. This professionalism was consistent throughout the entire project, making them a pleasure to work with."
    Michael Clay | AHR Architects
  • "The work involved a number of projects in a challenging time period and we found them helpful throughout the planning stage, delivery stage and after the completion of the work. Communication was always clear, with regular updates on the progress being made."
Darren Beardsley | Head Teacher, St Marys School
  • "The project team and all involved within the Gospel Hall project are a credit to Jupiter for the professional manner in which they executed the contract. I have no hesitation in recommending Jupiter to others. Thank you for a job well done."

  • "Jupiter Construction are a friendly and helpful contractor who I would be happy to recommend. Having worked with Jupiter Construction on the Coach House, I was impressed with their organisation both on and off site. All staff were professional, knowledgeable and helpful which contributed to an enjoyable project.

Health and safety organisation was excellent and showed a good awareness, ensuring general safety on site and keeping visitors safe during site visits.

Jupiter Construction were very accommodating and the works were well programmed and monitored.

  • "They've been fabulous to work with. They've been very professional, right from day one. Extremely organised, the project management's been excellent, and we knew that they were going to be a good fit for the scheme.

I think the main thing is that they do a very good job and the end product is good. Their communication skills and organisational skills are good, and that's what you're looking for. You know, if you can get a contractor that's coming in at the right price, that you know that you can work with, there's a good rapport, the communication's good, and they're organised, it gives you confidence."

  • "The problems are resolved before they become a problem and so for me that was a great help. I think having a first-class man running a project makes all the difference, because it takes the headache away.

For us, it was a different type of project. It very much had to be built to a budget, it had to meet the needs of our customers who are very varied, and we wanted to create a building where everybody felt comfortable in.

It was put together very effectively, very quickly, and I think, today we've got what we've got, which I'm delighted with, I have to say.

Planning for a successful commercial fit-out

Successful commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects are often determined by the planning that takes place before work begins on site.

Our team takes time to understand the project requirements, programme, existing building and the needs of everyone involved. We work alongside clients, consultants and design teams to establish a clear plan for delivery before construction begins.

Once on site, our project managers coordinate the works, subcontractors and supply chain to maintain progress, quality and safety throughout the project.

For projects in occupied or operational buildings, additional planning is required around access, deliveries, noise, services and the day-to-day activities of building users. Our approach is designed to keep these considerations at the centre of the programme.
