Jupiter Construction was appointed by Lidl GB to deliver essential reroofing works at the Lidl Chapel Allerton store in Leeds.
The project formed part of Lidl’s ongoing asset improvement programme, addressing the performance of the existing roof while ensuring the store remained fully operational throughout the works.
The scope of works involved the replacement of the existing roof covering to the original pitched roof building. The roof was upgraded using a lightweight single-lap steel tile system, providing improved durability and long-term weather protection.
The building comprises two roof elements: an original pitched roof and a later flat roof extension. The flat roof extension did not form part of the scope of works, allowing the project team to focus solely on the pitched roof replacement.
