Jupiter Construction was awarded a contract to enhance the learning environment at Green Meadows Primary Academy, situated off Bradford Road. This academy educates children aged 4-19 with a range of special educational needs (SEND) and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. The project involves remodelling two classrooms, new WC facilities, a small group room, decorations and flooring for the existing stairwell, and a new link corridor.
Green Meadows Primary Academy is located in Guiseley on a 2-acre site surrounded by fields, with a secondary site in close proximity. The academy comprises two blocks: the main school building, built circa 1972, and a separate caretaker residence.
The project required rapid mobilisation and coordination due to the short notice appointment, with all works needing to be completed within a strict 6-week timeframe during the school holidays. This ensured minimal disruption to the academy’s operations. Additionally, integrating new structural installations into the existing building required careful planning and execution.
Jupiter Construction successfully delivered the project within the 6-week timeframe, ensuring minimal disruption to the academy's operations. The end results were met with great satisfaction from both the Client, and the end users. The remodelling has created an enhanced learning environment, allowing freedom of movement, avoiding congestion, and providing inspiring learning spaces. Adherence to budgetary constraints and a commitment to quality were maintained throughout the project. The successful completion of this project underscores Jupiter Construction's dedication to excellence, client satisfaction, and efficient execution of construction projects.
